I think its because eBay automatically don't show items that aren't available for shipment to other countries.

Is it just books or are you including the Noddy Fuzzy Felts in the deal?

Thanks Fiona! I've issued your half price discount refund! Many thanks for your purchase. I'll get it posted over the next day or so.

Only one hour to go! Any last minute buyers?

FIVE people have taken advantage of the offer, lol. I bet tomorrow people will be saying...'I didn't know...'

I really thought I would get people keen to find a bargain!!

But thank you, 'The Famous Five' who did participate.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I enjoyed the Enid Blyton Birthday Promo!

Many thanks again to all who participated.

If I could ask in return that you leave me a (positive!!??) review on eBay when you receive your goods, that would be most appreciated! :-D

Certainly will. It was a great idea. Perhaps it could become an annual Blyton Birthday tradition?

Obviously I was torn between that and the Noddy Fuzzy Felt!

It was the following thread that made me decide to try to get the Newnes Faraway Tree books if I could find reasonably priced copies, as it made me realise that my 1970s Dean editions are slightly abridged:

I've now got The Enchanted Wood and I know The Folk of the Faraway Tree is on its way (thanks, Rob!) but I'll look out for The Magic Faraway Tree too at some point.

I'm about to list a DW copy of The Magic Faraway Tree in the next few days, though I'm hoping to get around £80 - £90 for it!! they are the only books I can fairly easily sell for that much, as believe it or not £90 is often cheap compared to other sellers! It has a very good wrapper indeed with no loss, though some rubbing to top and bottom of spine, and no writing or colouring inside it. Its from 1967. 8)

Ah yes, Courtenay, I do. But that's an older (60s I think) set while this is a newer one and so totally different. And being less 'vintage' Brodie might be allowed to play with it in a few years

And sorry, Anita. I know you would just have loved the Noddy set but at least you'll save some money not buying it now

I thought it was a great idea Rob, but I didn't grab myself a bargain for two reasons, firstly my Paypal and E-Bay account passwords won't work any more and I haven't got around to sorting them out yet. Secondly, I'm in the process of sorting my books out - and don't really know what I haven't got. I'm discovering books I didn't realise I'd bought and found a couple of duplicates too!

Maybe next year?
