Enid Blyton's Birthday - Half Price Sale!

Post by Rob Houghton »

As it is now August I thought I'd introduce a special offer on my books on eBay.

One day only - 11th August - I will sell my books to forumites at HALF PRICE! UK ONLY.

One book per person only!! ;-) (when I say 'one book' - obviously if you choose three or four being sold as a lot that's classed as 'one book' lol! )

Please check the link below, and keep returning, as I add books fairly regularly.

On 11th of August, should you wish to buy a book, please order through eBay, then message me, naming the book you are buying, either on here or on eBay to let me know who you are - just in case I don't realise! - and I will refund half the money. :D :D

This offer will start at midnight 10 August and finish at Midnight 11 August. Any orders made after that will revert to full price!

Sounds great, I just hope I don't forget to look on the right day!
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Looks interesting, I've got my eye on folk of the faraway tree but I assume that won't be there next week! I should remember the date without a reminder, it is my birthday after all!
If I could live here on this secret island always and always and always, and never grow up at all, I would be quite happy

Its been on sale for a few months now and no takers...although I did sell my copy of The Enchanted Wood with a very good dust wrapper for £92 last week! Admittedly, The Folk of the Faraway Tree doesn't have such a good wrapper... :(

£11 for The Circus of Adventure in a very good dust jacket is a bargain(very!). For some reason, it is the most difficult title to get in a decent(let alone good) dust jacket with a bargain price. Grab it. :D

I praise Rob for his kind offers to all Blytonians in this forum. I would have bought a few titles if I live in UK even though I already have them.

Mr. Galliano's Circus 1949 edition with good dust jacket for £13 is a very good bargain! I overlooked it before. I nearly popped out my eyes! Trust me, it is a very good bargain! :D

Note: This dust jacket is a bit difficult to find in an online market(at least)! The common one is the red spine(1952 edition onwards).

If I were you, I would have increased the price. £50 or more is more like it.
