The Enid Blyton book values keep on rising to the extent where it could be described as 'plain ridiculous.'
'Secret Of The Old Mill' (1948) is going for about £250 at one source and £130 or thereabouts, at another. There's also what looks like a 1990's paperback available for the equivalent of sixty pounds or so!!!!
Can this be true?
The book 'looks' like a paperback although it may be a modern hardcover edition - but £60 seems completely out of this world.
For a common-sense price look no further than 'TradeMe' where a mere £12 give-or-take is being asked ...... 'Currently!!'
Auction closes in about fifteen hours.

Re: Secret of The Old Mill
I bought my very good copy of The Secret of the Old Mill off eBay in 2016 for £16
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'
