What a terrible name for a book about The Famous Five!

Yes, perhaps we should close the thread. I certainly had no idea, when it started, that the book in question was written by a fellow forum participant. I'm very sorry if I offended you, Liam.

I can assure you I'm most definitely not going to criticise the book itself, though — I haven't read it, so I can't say anything about it either way! :wink: All I was referring to was the title. I'm willing to accept Fiona's judgment, though, that it's an excellent resource for everything to do with the Famous Five.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
