And it's not even Stella & Rose. But they do very generously offer free P&P...
I love the way they write 'I will be as thorough and brief with my description as I can...' - hmmm! Thorough AND brief?!?!

hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

And that one is from Martyn Fenner who is currently a Society Member and a Journal subscriber!
I did notice that they mention it being a reprint of the 1939 book - obviously they are more in the know than some! 8)

I've bought from Glyn Noddfa books before (mostly back before it was a shop, they had the name NJFenner then). I've always found their listings to be very knowledgeable and their prices are generally quite reasonable. They certainly know the worth of the books and don't list them at silly prices, but they don't undersell either.
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Oh, they've ended the listing. :( I was still thinking about it, especially after Tony said it was a fellow Society member... But I don't really need it right now.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I noticed it had ended. I wonder if it just 'ran out' or did someone buy it? 8)

Don't they usually say "sold" rather than "ended" if someone bought it? I'm not sure. Anyway, I do have more than enough books to go on with at present, but I'm sure I'll get hold of that one some time!

It sold, it is easy to see if books sold as you just have to click on the 'sold items' button!

I have no idea who bought it and nor am I interested.

As regards 'sold items', just look at the menu down the side of this link and you will see 'Show Only' and you can choose either the completed listings or just the ones that actually sold.

Although Tony isn't interested and doesn't know who bought this book, some of you might be.

I bought it. However, I was bidding on another copy and thought I had been outbid. I therefore bought this copy. Now I have had an email saying I had won the original book that I was bidding for! I now have two copies winging their way to south Wiltshire.

I suppose if I re-list one I can sell it on. If I don't open the packet I won't even have to spend on packing!

Great story! That hasn't happened to me...yet.

I'm glad one or two of them went to a good home! I presume the one thats on offer for over £100 is still on offer...or did you buy that one too? ;-).
