Some enterprising person has bought a box of Famous Five postcards and is selling them singly for £1.00 each!! Talk about trying to cash in!

Plus 75p postage. Mind you, they aren't the same as the ones that were recently made available with the prints of Eileen Soper cover illustrations and frontispieces.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I think they are the same as the postcard box which had 30 cards...? :?

I also found this - which made me laugh -- one piece from a Noddy alphabet puzzle...(from Australia - so quite a lot for postage too!)

Oh yes — I just looked up Julie's photos of the set and they are the same. I'd only remembered the ones that had the front cover illustrations on them. Nice try, someone...

And it's not even a "vintage" puzzle.

Ugh, like those people that get a Pepy's game and then try to sell all the cards individually at a pound or two each. Fair enough if you only have a few but when you've got the majority of a game...
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

I'm surprised someone isn't on eBay selling books by the page - Five On A Treasure Island - 1st edition, only £10 a page!

We once found someone on eBay selling "artwork" ripped out of vintage Noddy books, remember?

I do remember! It seems that people think they can sell anything these days...and they must get people buying this stuff or else surely they wouldn't bother?!

"Once"? I see it all the time online, especially on Etsy. Or someone takes a ripped out illustration, puts it in a cheap frame and hikes the price up even higher!
