Re: Journal Give-away Offer!
Rob, I have received the Journals, thanks, they were waiting patiently in my porch until I got back from Dorset.
Journal 30 has an article by our very own Nigel Rowe - Hollow Tree House.
If Walter, Stef or Fiona, don't want the Journal they've ordered, I'll have them!

Glad they arrived okay Julie! Nigel's article is well worth reading - he really should write more articles!
any Journals I have left over will eventually be offered again!

Re: Journal Give-away Offer!
Hands off my journal, Julie! Sorry, it's just been an extremely busy week. I've either been working or working on the flat every day (sometimes both), any 'free time' has been spent shopping for furniture and carpets or calling decorators and I've also just managed to fit in daily yoga practice and getting my 10,000 steps. Today's my first day off since... last Wednesday, maybe?
I'll do by best to get an envelope posted off today. If I make it back from my run alive, that is. Haven't managed to do any running in about two weeks!

"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

And, ok, it turns out I don't have an envelope big enough for a journal. I'll have to remember to pick one up at Tesco this evening.

Re: Journal Give-away Offer!
We've not heard from Stef for a while now - unless I've just missed her posts. I hope all is well, Stef.Robert Houghton wrote: or Steph (not surprising as I haven't heard from her officially so not sure if you still want them, Steph?)
Thanks for the kind comments regarding my review of Hollow Tree House. I really should write another article, I even planned one, then did some research and found that it had already been reviewed!
I must try harder.

As far as I know Stef is on Facebook - or was on it before I more or less retired from it. Maybe she's more active there.

Stef is so slender and petite these days that if you blink you will miss her.

Re: Journal Give-away Offer!
well, I've not heard from her, and as the only Steph I can find is called 'Steph' and everyone calls her 'Stef' I don't even know if I have the right one. Still waiting for her to contact me!

Re: Journal Give-away Offer!
I gave her a nudge a day or so ago, Rob but I'll remind her again. She posts as Pippa-Stef which is perhaps why you couldn't spot her.

Re: Journal Give-away Offer!
Ah! Thank you! Now it becomes clear, as there's someone else who posts as just Steph!!! I can message her now although its awkward if she can't get online to read it! If you still have my address feel free to text it to her if you have her number? Thanks.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Re: Journal Give-away Offer!
Glad it got there safely! I think everyone should have their Journals by now except Sixret, Fiona and Walter.

Re: Journal Give-away Offer!
I have envelopes now. More than I ever needed as Tesco only had packs of 25! I just really hope they are the right size... If so I'm getting there. I also have stamps some place. If I could just get the stamps onto the envelopes I'd be even closer to actually getting them posted.
