Noddy jigsaw by Arrow

Post by Betsfindouter »

Noddy jigsaw by Arrow Games Ltd, 12 piece wooden in box. Fairly good condition for the age, looks like one corner has been reinforced with sellotape at some point but it's still quite a sturdy box. £5.00 including P&P to UK. Hope photo works!

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Please let me know if you got my PM Tony as my outbox says (1) but it doesn't show up in my 'sent' box so not sure if it went or not....

Hi Charlotte,

That's a quirk with the PMs on this site - they stay in your outbox until the recipient has read them, and only then show up as "sent". It's a bit confusing, but it does mean you'll know when Tony has seen it.

Out of the 106 Arrow jigsaws in the Cave there are 12 missing - this one will take it down to eleven! I never get sent any pictures of missing jigsaws (also very few books), so the only way to get them in is to buy them myself. The same goes for the audio section - I have had to buy all the cassettes pictured in it and I don't even have a cassette player.

I would actually say Cave Collector! As I explained I buy these things as it is the only way that I can try to complete the Cave information.

Hint taken and Hidden House now has all its reprints! I had just assumed that you had taken all those pics from the Cave and obviously didn't take in what you had written underneath!

No problem Tony. Just happy to make even a tiny contribution to the eighth wonder of the world that is the Cave of books.

It looks nice. That particular set of jigsaws appears to have been based on the 1975 Noddy TV series.
"Heyho for a starry night and a heathery bed!" - Jack, The Secret Island.

"There is no bond like the bond of having read and liked the same books."
- E. Nesbit, The Wonderful Garden.

All the early Arrow jigsaws were based on the TV puppets. I am not sure if they were actually taken from the films, but they may well have been.
