The image pops up for a fraction of a second for me, then it says it can't find anything that matches. Weird.
I think I remember these though, but it was a loooooong time ago...
I went on some great adventures reading the Famous Five books.

I wonder whether people realise that things like this can be found in the Cave! Another bit that nobody ever looks at!!

Maybe you should move on, Tony, to somewhere much more interesting, it would seem. Ebay, for instance?

I hope Tony never closes his cave, I find it very useful to dip into from time to time. I've used it this week in fact. Although I did experience a few problems. I was trying to look up the Pink Whistle books to see which ones I am missing, and for some reason it would only bring up the tapes. In the end, I had to look up the Dean Series and check the titles out that way. Still, I managed to find what I was looking for, so that's the main thing.

Did you put the whole book title into "Search", Katharine? Sometimes it can cause a problem if you do that and inadvertently miss/insert a hyphen, exclamation mark or some other little feature, because what you typed in the search box doesn't match the title in the Cave exactly. Searching for a key word, e.g. "whistle", is often more successful.

There is a problem here, Katharine, and it occurs with some of the short story titles as well. The 'search' in the Cave is very precise and I would guess that you entered 'Pinkwhistle', whilst most of the books have him hyphenated as 'Pink-Whistle'. Jigsaws and records and some later stories dropped the hyphen, but if you put back the hyphenated version in search, you will get a veritable birthday present of entries!

Thanks for the advice Tony, I managed to look up the book without any problems this morning, I think possibly I used a space instead of a hyphen between the two words last time I looked.

I once watched a programme on shops that had lost their way, and featured a sweet shop that had ended up with packs of rat poison in the window

I used to have a sweet shop with those little glass jars the same as the Noddy one, but it wasn't a Noddy Sweet Shop. :)

It must be a grocer's shop as well. Sugar and custard powder are well displayed. I can't identify the item in the bottom right corner though.
