Wonder if some canny buyer will pick up a bargain due to the spelling mistake?

Re: Five on Kitten Island Again
I'm sure we've talked about this before,I wonder if it's the same person selling the same annual or there are two fools out there!
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

I like how I was a bit vague about it when I was the one who pointed it out the first time! My memory is clearly not what it used to be. At least I now know it's a different fool this time!

I too thought we'd had that thread before about 'Kitten Island'!
Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.

I wonder if the annual is advertised that way to try and get it to go viral and as a result boost the price.
I went on some great adventures reading the Famous Five books.

Re: Five on Kitten Island Again
I think it's "Kirren", actually, not "Kitten". So the misspelling is not quite so bad, after all. (Yes, I know the seller thought it was "Kitten", and advertised it that way. But I think they are mistaken. Take a careful look at the cover. The font is somewhat idiosyncratic; but I really think the letters in the middle are Rs rather than Ts.)

Re: Five on Kitten Island Again
It's obvious to me that the letters are "r's", it's just the font that makes them look like "t's".
Sad that the seller doesn't even realise their mistake, which means they have never read any of The Famous Five books, and yet they are selling one.

Not sure that you need to have read any particular book in order to flog it on, but it *does* clearly say Kirren very close to the copyright date....poddys wrote:It's obvious to me that the letters are "r's", it's just the font that makes them look like "t's".
