Has to be Beek.
I may not have actually read the books, but I've seen plenty of his illustrations. They are magnificent.

Re: c.s lewis
I own Mere Christianity and The Screwtape Letters.
I've read part of the latter, though I found it so hard to read that I couldn't finish it.
The Narnia series is excellent, btw.

Re: Favourite films - nothing recent!
One of my favorite all-time movies is Grand Prix . As a Formula 1 history buff, the footage of the old cars and race tracks in that movie is top-notch, and is quite possibly the best racing movie ever. Though I'm baffled as to why James Garner got top billing. Yves Montand had the most screen time, ...

I forgot to mention...
I like my share of 80's New Wave. Duran Duran, Soft Cell, Culture Club, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and a few others are on my playlist.

Re: Your eye colour?!
My eyes used to be quite blue.
Now they've changed to a more greenish color... odd.

Re: What music do you like?
Wow! That's quite a surreal collection! Apart from U2, I haven't actually heard of any of those bands. How do you find music like that? Very erudite. I look around. Although in some cases I was turned on to them by other people. In the cases of Current 93 and Nurse With Wound, their music (like Eni...

Re: Noddy's Toyland Adventures
20, will be 21 in a month. I've never read the books either. I just happen to find the characters - especially Noddy himself - to be extremely likeable as well as being characters anyone can relate to in many different ways.peppermint peppy wrote: Btw,what's your age?

Re: What music do you like?
I love music. Currently in heavy rotation are U2, Old 97's (American pop-rock band), Dir en grey (Japanese metal band), Soul Coughing (now-defunct band with a sound that has a mix of jazz, rock, drum 'n bass and spoken-word beat poetry), Jack Johnson, Daft Punk, and I give Current 93 and Nurse With ...

Re: Noddy's Toyland Adventures
It's nice not to be the one and only Noddy nut  in here! You're definitely not the only one! I constantly get made fun of by people for being a Noddy fan. I tell them to [censored] off in respose. Oh well, I'd rather be a fan of Noddy than a fan of so-called "adult" books and ...
