Re: 1970s FF Series Incidental Music.
Hi Morgan, sorry for not replying earlier. I wasn't online for quite a while. That track you were asking for is called " Day Off " by Brian Bennett and you can find it on the Bruton Drama Montage 2 Record BRJ 8 as the last track. Having a look at the sheets, it is not listed but could as w...

Re: 1970s FF Series Incidental Music.
Thanks so much again Marc for listing all that info. I’d agree it’s doubtful whether the Andrews/Spur/King tracks were on any Bruton releases - none that I’ve seen anyways. My fear is that they might just be internal tracks created for the series and owned by Portman and not featured on any release...

Re: 1970s series incidental music.
Thanks Marc. It looks like that jolly number is Five Alive. Possibly specially composed for the series? Unless it states otherwise? What info does it have for that track? That’s right, it is called “Five Alive” by R. Andrews, L. Spurr and T. King and the sheet says that it was published on Bruton B...

Re: 1970s series incidental music.
Funny.......Leonine Germany published the DVD box. I am a drummer for the library music of an audio series they publish so I will send a request with that info.
As being part of their family, may it won't be that hard to ask for the music cue sheet

Re: 1970s series incidental music.
Thanks very much Morgan. I think you're right, the best option would be contacting the company that released the DVD. I will try and do that tomorrow. I will post the results on here.... Is Gary still regular posting on here.....you´re right he might be of help. I just watched the Mystery Moore epis...

Re: 1970s series incidental music.
I wish I could identify that tune. It’s used a lot in Series 1, but I haven’t heard it anywhere else (unlike most of the other tracks which have cropped up in other productions). Morgan, do you know by any chance who was responsible for putting in the music onto the series back in the day? I wonder...

I wish I could identify that tune. It’s used a lot in Series 1, but I haven’t heard it anywhere else (unlike most of the other tracks which have cropped up in other productions). It sounds a bit like out of the hands of Barry Ainsworth regarding the last chord progression of that tune. Unfortunatel...

Does anyone know about that tune in the meanwhile?
