Re: Happy Birthday, Joanne_Chan

Thanks everybody for the birthday greetings. I did re-read some Just William stories and had a number of records that I have been listening to across the day.

Re: Dad's Army

I'm saddened to hear of Ian's death, loving this character Pike adding to the rich comic foil of the series which I feel still holds up.

It's unfortunate so many classic recordings of the earlier series were wiped and telecine copies are missing too.

Re: R.I.P. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

It was heart-warming to see the Queen's grandchildren William and Harry together earlier. I'm sure the Queen would have been delighted about that. Indeed most touching. All involved in those issues need to find a way through them that better aids the ability of all to move forward with the loss of ...

Re: R.I.P. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Something I wrote Friday at another site: Today is not as planned for many of us since the passing yesterday of our Queen, Elizabeth IInd in the afternoon at Balmoral, Aberdeenshire, Scotland which was by no means expected as much as she had in recent years become more frail and indeed had only been...

One finds oneself alternating between a numbness from the sheer impact on lives of this conflict and anger that the cost of it does nothing to resolve the dispute between the Russian leader and any neighbouring country only take innocent lives in Ukraine and increasingly incoherent threats to the re...

I'm pleased the ESL idea got suspended but it isn't the end of the matter as the governance of the game needs looking into to ensure the interest of fans has more of ear in the boardrooms.
