Re: Marjorie Davies

Tony, just wondering if you were able to find that article from Journal 13 for me?

Thanks.

Heather.

Re: Marjorie Davies

I just found this and realised I'd forgotten to check this thread for replies! Tony, I'd love an emailed copy of that article, because it would be good to include her in my illustrator's list, and to do that I need some information about her. Also, Jacquie, if you have a digital photograph of your a...

Re: Pronounciations

Trot-vil for me too. Although for years as a child I misread the word and added another syllable that wasn't there. I read the word as "trottleville", and pronounced it in my head as trot-el-vil. Then one day I realised there was no "l" in the middle. Oops!

Re: Who were these children?

I had some of these editions as a child. I was always under the impression that they were from a TV series of the Secret Seven, but I haven't seen any information on it.

Oops! So sorry about the postage! You should have told me and I could have sent through the rest. I'm happy to do that, just let me know how much it is. Thanks for the information re. Marjorie Davies. I'm too much of a latecomer to have read journal 13, but I'll definitely look at the cover. ...

Thanks, Viking Star.

And Tony, the bib arrived!!! I haven't had time to do anything more than skim over a few pages, but it seems wonderful! Now I have more to drool over and wish I had more disposable income to fritter away on ebay.

Marjorie L. Davies

At the risk of being shouted down by Tony for not looking at his bibs (I only have one, arrived in the mail yesterday, thanks Tony, and one can't answer my question), here goes: This article came to my attention today. http://www.midsussextimes.co.uk/feature" onclick="window.open(this.href...

Thanks, Tony. Yes, I did have a lovely birthday. I shall await the book with bated breath.

Thanks for your wishes too, Moose. No ginger-beer for me, but a lovely glass of muscat after dinner was just what the doctor ordered. :D

Hi! Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I'm still here. Still reading. Just haven't found time for posting lately, and I've been awfully remiss with updating my website too. I do check in every few days to read up on the posts I've missed. My girls bought me Tony's illustrated bib (book 1) for my...

Actually, as far as art theft goes, I much preferred Good Old Secret Seven. Usually when comparing the plots of Mystery vs SS books, Mystery wins hands down. I think this is the only exception.

It's called "Pilates". Allow me to demonstrate, Mr Goon. It really does wonders for the figure.

Some info in the Book Listing is wrong???

Careful, you'll give Tony a coronary. Perhaps you should point out specifics if you see any problems.
