Re: 70s Famous Five on DVD?
The region is the question
Don't take it as a confession
Keep it only for impression
Lest it becomes an obsession
DVD is only a view
Not to be taken as brew
Gather your own crew
And cook a slowly stew
The box is to be torn
Whichever its adorn
The action should bring no mourn
And neither any scorn
Don't take it as a confession
Keep it only for impression
Lest it becomes an obsession
DVD is only a view
Not to be taken as brew
Gather your own crew

Re: 70s Famous Five on DVD?
VLC-player is not illegal, so it's a valid option This is funny for two reasons. First: VLC is an open source project as it always was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VLC_media_player" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Second: If it was illegal, wouldn't it still be valid? (as in...

.....If it's there just use it....... Hello Jose. What did you mean with this sentence. Thamks for explaining I disagree with piracy myself. But... if it is available (and the site I mentioned is totally safe), then if you use it it (someone else will) it won't make a difference. Sooner or latter (s...

Re: 70s Famous Five on DVD?
Yes, it´s ilegal.
But for those of us who are on a shoestring it's hard to resist.
Anyway those who want to do it would better hurry because soon those IPs will be blocked by your Internet Service Provider. European Comunity rules.

Re: 70s Famous Five on DVD?
I don't know if someone has posted this before, but the 70's Famous Five series is available as free torrents at thebox.bz. Just in case someone doesn't find it somewhere else or can't/doesn't want to pay for it. I'm not sure I want to watch it. Wouldn't it spoil the memories of the books? P.S. It's...

Re: Stuart Tresilian (Uncle Cecil)
Yes, Cecil Stuart Tresilian was by far the best ilustrator. And... the only one that managed to give a sexual feeling to the drawings (yes, yes) with only a few people beeing aware of it. I'm not only noticing the shapes, that would be too obvious. But take a look at the expression on the girls face...

Please, don't mix PCs with Enid Blyton... the Lady belongs to an ancient world and I like it like that.Wolfgang wrote: I wonder why this article hasn't included prizes for Personal computers as well, if I think how much I had to spend in 1992 to get a decent one and how much I have to spend today...
