It's unusual for it to happen (and I've no doubt that in this case the release date will be pushed back) but ITV's 'Appointment with Death' (a big budget episode of Poirot, one of the jewels of their schedules) was released on DVD over a year ago. It still hasn't been shown on TV yet. Bizarre.
