Sounds odd, Pete. I use Chrome every time so it isn't an inherent problem with Chrome.

I've always used Chrome, and occasionally I have the same message - but always just presumed the website was down! Glad it now seems to be okay again Pete! :-)

Hope things will work okay from now on, Pete. I use Chrome and I've never had that message but I have experienced other oddities - e.g. pages on eBay are very slow to load and after visiting eBay the whole computer becomes unresponsive and I can't do any searches for a while.

Mind you, I switched to Chrome because I had even more problems on Firefox and other browsers!

Yes - I agree - eBay is very slow lately on Chrome! Sometimes a page will take half a minute or so to load properly - although I've never noticed that the whole computer becomes unresponsive afterwards - touch wood!! :D

I just went on eBay (I use Chrome all the time) and it was fine for me. But we have pretty good broadband where I live, so I don't know if that makes the difference. Or maybe because I'm using a Mac?

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I still use Firefox, and I don't think it's slow. Security settings with Flash are a challenge though, I have to use another Browser instead.

I sometimes get a similar message on some sites - maybe it is because this website isn't secure. Google's security settings are quite strict.

I use Chrome for the forums and I've never had an issue.

You're welcome, Pete. Glad it's working again.
I only use Firefox to enable me to redownload Chrome on the odd occasions that it 'locks up' (or whatever) and has to be uninstalled/ reinstalled.
