Ninth Bedside Book
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this please? I've searched everywhere to no avail . I don't care if it's got a dust wrapper or not and price not a problem (within reason!).

Well done, IceMaiden (and Sixret as well) — good to see you supporting the Australian economy, too.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Well done Sixret and IceMaiden! Nice to see someone get a long searched for book.

I've just had an email to say that my order has been cancelled and refunded, seems they haven't actually got it in stock after all . I don't suppose you know of any other copies do you Sixret?

Re: Ninth Bedside Book
Bad luck! I wonder why this particular book is so hard to get, even without a wrapper? Looking at my collection of Bedside Books (mostly without wrappers - not a collection I've ever pursued with any seriousness so far due to price) I also don't have number 9 - though I have around 10 of them.

As a matter of fact, I have found a cheaper copy without dust jacket. Do message me and I'll let you know the online seller's name. £9.

I also need number 9 and also 4 to complete the set! None of mine have dustwrappers although the Second one had one once as I had it new for Christmas when it first came out.

Fourth Bedside was the last one I bought in Barker Bedside series due to its scarcity. I paid the book with undamaged and almost like new dj cheaply. From one of the UK seller end of last year. And one other copy of Fourth Bedside appeared online and I let Ice Maiden know.

Re: Ninth Bedside Book
I've replied. Hope you get it this time. I know how frustrated it could be to complete a series especially only one more left.
P/s: Don't put Enid Blyton's magazine in a back burner especially when great bargains are at hand at this moment. I did the same mistake previously thinking I would buy them after I have finished collecting books collection although I have rectified it. Enid Blyton books are always there. The great offer of magazines are seldom to come by. Enid Blyton's magazines are gems especially if you are collecting EB's short stories. They are the main sources of uncollected short stories in abundance!

Re: Ninth Bedside Book
Thanks to Sixret I've hopefully managed to get another copy . I don't know how the other one let an order be placed for an item that wasn't there though. Hopefully this one is actually in stock for real this time, and Courtenay, I'm still supporting the Aussie economy as this one's from there too .
