Hi guys, I'd like a copy of The Secret Of The Old Mill, new or old edition doesn't matter, and paperback preferable,

I would love a copy of the 1948 edition too, but The Secret of the Old Mill is included in the Secret Seven Short Story Collection. It has been updated a bit of course but it is not too bad.

Yes, I have a copy of the Secret Seven Short Story Collection. From what I remember, the edits are minor and occasional, and it is a nice book; being a collection of all the Secret Seven short stories. I agree these books have got pretty ugly front covers. Obviously the main aim is to make the covers as attractive as possible to the younger generation, and unfortunately, this is apparently what they go for... There is a different edition though which I can't make a link for at the moment, but I should be able to in the morning. This cover is much nicer and I'm sure it hasn't been edited. It was going for about the same price as the other one on ebay. Anyway if nobody can find it, I will certainly post the link in the morning.

Sadly "at the seaside" isn't in it, and I already have all the short stories that appear in the magazine annuals. It's worth buying for the Old Mill story and the strip book story though, as te nicer original paperback cover is on eBay for under £3.

I'm sure I've got two copies of this and I'd be happy to part with the newer Award version. It's a hardback not paperback though and the story has been altered. I've also got a Knight paperback which has the At Seaside Cottage story in.
