I think it may encourage new people to the forums to become members of the society as they will see the blue logo under the posts and enquire what they need to do to have it under theirs.

Yes - it advertises the Society and looks bright and jolly in people's signatures.

I think so too. :D In any case, within 24 hours of doing my first ever post in the "Introduce Yourself" section after I joined the forums, there were several people dropping undisguised hints along the lines of "Hope you'll consider joining the Society as well!" - so within another day or two, I did. You see, I was completely bullied into it. (And I don't regret it a bit, I assure you.)

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Yes, I can see Michael's point - it could be taken as "Look at me, I'm a proper member - you're not!" Of course, nobody here would display this character trait so it doesn't apply!

Well done, ciclon. You can add your own Society Member in blue, or I'm sure Anita or Tony will do it for you if you wish. :)

I can safely tell you that the tag is working. I felt a pang of guilt the minute I signed in.

After having several Journals lost when my uncle in Hong Kong moved I decided to not continue my membership when it expired in January 2012. The last Journal I have is no. 45, so I need to stock up! Thank goodness that in less than 2 months I shall finally have an address where mail can safely reach me.

Looking forward to adding my tag too. :D
