Yes that's how it seems to me so far, I've not encountered any limit while I've been making new folders.

I'm not sure if the extra folders have a limit too as I've not filled any up to a limit yet, but even if the extra folders have a limit like the inbox does, you can just make yet another one, so, say for example you and I were PMing and I had a folder named 'Michael', if that had a limit on it I could just make another one called 'Michael 2' or something similar.

I have four folders (all of them are just about full) and I seemed to have reached the limit because I can't make any more without having to delete one of my existing folders.

That's my experience too Poppy. I have several folders, but over the years they've all become full, so I had to start deleting messages.

It beats me why anyone would want to keep old PMs! I have none, but then I have disabled this feature. :D

To me it's the same as keeping a letter from a friend in many cases.

I keep them till I have no more space then I delete a few in order that I can receive more.

That is exactly what I do too, John.

I guess it would depend on the contents of the messages, whether someone wants to keep them or not - and also whether, generally, they tend to keep old things, like letters or e-mails for example.

Regards, Michael.

I hoard PMs like I hoard everything else in my life. Problem is I delete my sent messages so if I do go back and read old PMs the context is often lost as my replies aren't there.

If it's getting to the point where any particular person's PMs are feeling like letters from a friend, I would just give them my email address and take it from there. 8)

Exactly my thoughts!
