Yes, just recently we used to care about post counts but now we don't so people still tease us about it. They will stop in time. We just have to bear with it till then. Even I get angry at times, just don't show it in an open forum please!

Stef's first Malory Towers review went up this morning http://worldofblyton.wordpress.com/2012 ... pippastef/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :)

Talking of reviews I'm not happy with my Famous Five post so I plan to rework it and edit the one that' already on. I'd appreciate some feedback once it's done.

As promised I've rewritten my Famous Five post, hopefully it's a little more review-y and a little less spoiler-y.

You can see it here http://worldofblyton.wordpress.com/2012 ... books-1-3/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, and as I said before I would very much appreciate some feedback, particularly from those who read the original version.

Thanks! :)

I don't think there was much problem with the earlier one as it is, and it DEFFO wasn't a spoiler. But this newer version is better for sure!

I like your new improved Famous Five reviews, Fiona, especially the "My favourite parts" section which adds a personal touch.

Stef, I agree that First Term at Malory Towers is a great book. The plot is well thought out with plenty of intrigue - much better than the first St. Clare's book, which is episodic and a little tame. I have to say that Stiff, Solemn Sally with a Secret is more interesting to me than the Steady, Sensible Sally she becomes! (Though later she is to reveal a jealous streak so there are surprises yet to come).

Well I didn't read the original of Fiona's FF article but I do like it as it is now. The format is good, giving a light and punchy overview of each book without getting too bogged down in boring detail. I agree with Anita that the "My FavouriteParts" section is a good idea; it will give prospective readers something to look out for a sthey go through the book.

Stef's Malory Towers article is very well written also though as its been a while since I read MT I am not best qualified to comment on the specifics. I also liked her "My Favouriet Characters" article.

Its all looking very good guys and in a very short space of time too. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Anita and Lucky Star. I'm feeling a bit more inspired with my new format, so I've written parts of all six other posts already. Part 2 is ready to go and will be up at the start of next week, assuming we've got other stuff ready for the rest of this week.

Cheers everyone! Thank you for your kind words!

Fiona deserves a lot of the credit! I just do what I'm told!

I am very glad that you like my Favourite Characters post LS, although if I'm any judge Fiona's is much better than mine! Also that the MT blog is recieved favourably.

At some point this evening I shall set up threads for Poppy and Darrell's articles so they can be discussed one a monthly basis.

As I have said before, anyone who wishes to submit someting to us is welcome. If I get chance before I start my new job this weekend I shall set up a new email address for the blog submissions! :D

Enjoy and don't forget to share and share alike!

I've just re-done the images in my first Famous Five summary post... but I swear that's it now, that's how it's going to stay, and now I have a set template for all the others.

I just hope Tony doesn't mind us using all his images! I have put where they're from in every blog post.
