Re: Home page
I'm a bit puzzled as to how a darker background would help to make the dark type any clearer. It was pointed out just the other day that clicking on the printer icon at the right in the band across the top of the page you wish to read brings up the page in a completely different format. I wonder if that might be any better for you? It's all black type on a white background - perhaps clearer than the shaded areas we normally see.

Re: Home page
Text colour can also be changed, Daisy. In this case, white letters on a dark backdround.

Oh well ... happy experimenting! I hope you can find a comfortable combination of type and background.

Re: Home page
I think there can be an option in the UCP whether you want the normal site view or white text on a black background.Bannerman65 wrote:I'd like to request a darker background. Sorry, everyone, but I'm, experiencing age related eyesight problems, and with the brightness of my monitor, the site is becoming a little hard to read.
Is there a version of the current site design, that has a darker background, and is easier to read?
