I'll bring both. Don't want to get caught in the rain!

By the way, manged to open my suitcase at last. I had to call my parents for the combination number.

I wasn't really away for long!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say "Have a great day!" tomorrow. With record numbers showing up the place should be pretty well filled out. I really wish I was going, but here I am, 4300 miles away, looking glum and downcast (a bit like the English weather, I hear).

I'm eagerly awaiting photos and stories from attendees so I can post everything to the website as soon as possible after the Day, so please feel free to send me anything you'd like to say -- brief comments or whatever. You can email me at mystery@enidblyton.net. I'll compile everything as best I can and hopefully come up with something that nicely represents the Day. If in doubt about what I'm looking for, have a look at last year's summary:

Day 2006

Don't forget to get lots of group photos! :)

Anyway -- have fun!

I'll be travelling both ways now in the one day.

If anyone who'll have their mobile on them on the day would be kind enough to pm me their number I can at least let people know if any problems en route arise.

It's over 4 hours each way for me and my vehicle is 37 years old, hence the planning!

Touch wood see many of you tomorrow

I hope someone has sent you a mobile number - I'm afraid I'm just about the only person in the country who doesn't own one!

I don't own a mobile phone either, I'm afraid. I used to have one for a year but I only ever used it twice, and then it stopped working.

Hope your car gets you to Twyford okay, George. I'm at the mercy of trains and Tube but they've been fairly reliable in previous years.

Looking forward to seeing everyone! :D

I've given George@Kirrin my mobile no, although I warned that as I'm not often early, I might not be there if she rings 30 minutes or so prior to the event to say she will be late etc.

I should be wearing a t-shirt with my Ship of Adventure avatar on - although I'm also sorely tempted to wear my new Five on a Treasure Island t shirt! It'll be one or the other! :D

Can someone tell me if the supermarket(s) etc. are close to Loddon Hall please (eg. will it be possible to buy some last minute cans of ginger beer for the picnic, if necessary)? :)

I've also sent G@K my mobile number so she should be able to get a message through if necessary. See you all tomorrow.

Incidentally I'm going to make, for the first time, some "potted meat sandwiches". :D  8)

Does anyone know if I should add cucumber or tomatoes? Salad cream (as it's traditional)?

I like tomato - but BRING the salad cream and don't put it in the sandwich!
