Stephen had the home made burger with chips, and he said it was lovely,
The sausage and mash was excellent as well - a very nice pub.

Pity the soup was 'spicy', and I didn't hear about the winter veggies until after I'd ordered the chips!

Was there gravy with the sausage, Francis?

Yes the gravy was nice and the sausages were small with an excellent taste - the best I have had for a long time.

Wish I'd have had that now, Francis!

Maybe we should all meet up next week end and go back and try other things on the menu. :P

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

A nice idea Julie but sadly it would make that a very expensive meal, taking travel/accommodation costs into account! :(

I've asked Erika if she can remember everyone on the photos. She got two wrong, John (Lucky Star) and me!

Sounds a great idea. My daughter and granddaughter are coming on Saturday - perhaps I could suggest a 'mystery' tour ending up at the Red Lion with everyone else there!

I didn't recognise you either John - couldn't see any puffins...

Must be some kind of mental block on the name John.
