Tony, if you've got any programmes left, I'll buy them from you, to add to the ones I've already got, from my E.B. Day visits. :)

Every year looks good but 1997 - what a wonderful selection! Oh how I wished................. I will look in awe at those who attended the early years.

Fabulous list and like many others I bitterly regret that I did not discover the society sooner. I am just thankful that I managed to attend five great days starting in 2007. Hopefully it may yet turn out to be the case that we have not heard the last of this wonderful event.

I'm beginning to feel better now that I realise that I'm not the only person who has only discovered the Society in the last few years, and haven't been able to attend as many EB days as they would have liked.

There is no chance at all of getting a working actress like Jemima Rooper. I could give you quite a long list of people that I have tried and failed with!
I mention it pretty much anytime I see her. ;) I would love for her to talk again. She seems to remember a lot more than Paul (Child), but I think it persuaded Paul might get up on stage? ;) As long as he could sell some of his bands CD's ;)

I had no idea you had been attending EBDs for 20 years Julie. Have you been a member all that time?

Just looking at the speakers again, I went to my first day in 2007, and I believe I have been to everyone since, however just looking at the speakers for 2009, well... I feel a bit stumped. I remember seeing Mary Cadugon talk, but I remember diddly squat about any of the other speakers!

Is it possible I missed one?

As I'm just about to head off to work I shan't be able to sort through my Blyton boxes until later, but now that is really going to puzzle me!
