Is it an optical illusion in the photographs, or is Marcus Harris about six foot five?

I don't think he's that tall, Jamie Uk, but he is an extremely lovely man and has a great smile! :D

An interesting question! I spoke to Marcus at the 2010 Blyton Day, he seemed to be slightly taller than my own height 5' 9". A very nice person indeed, as were the other 70's series cast members present that day.

Well, I guess I'll have to compare him to my own height to be sure. Maybe in the pictures and that newscast he was just with very short people.

TV/film personalities are always physically very different in real life than they are on screen.

Particularly after a gap of 40 years.

I stood next to him in the Gents', and must admit that I had to look up to him. :|

True, but then, metaphorically speaking, many of us look up to you, dear Julie! (Where's the "creeping" smilie?)

It's a bad picture of me, but this might give you more an idea of Marcus Harris' height. I'm about 5"6 and a Half. I don't think he was bending down.
"You're so sharp you'll cut yourself one day!" Hunchy said going to the door
"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.

I remember that picture being taken, Stef. You're right, he wasn't bending down, but he was sat on a chair! :D
