I would have thought a signal box would have been more appropriate, Petermax!
Hmmmmmm

I think that I will stay with the Alderney lighthouse for the foreseable future, although perhaps I may be tempted to use a photo taken from a different angle just a add a little variety.

And that, Julie darling, is precisely why I don't like it when avatars change. Every time Nigel changes his, I need to re-adjust my brain.

I'm glad that even if Tony changes in real life (the beard in 2008? My parents thought he looked like Anthony Hopkins in the film Instinct) he always remains the Tony I saw in 2007, thanks to his avatar! :D

He is currently beard-less, Ming! I've never seen Tony as Hannibal Lecter though.....

And last time I checked there was no Hannibal Lecter in Instinct.

1) Did I say there was?
2) Does the cast list change between viewings?

1) You implied it.
2) It does if you're watching trilogies or sequels or long serials.

1) No, I only used another part that Anthony Hopkins played.
2)We aren't talking about trilogies, we're talking about a film.

1) I specifically mentioned Instinct.
2) A trilogy is still a series of films.

1) Irrelevant. I was solely referring to another of Hopkins' characters.
2) I didn't say series, I said a (meaning singular) film.

1) I'll grant you that.
2) Even in a film, the cast list does change if one of the actors have to be pulled out for any reason. Exceptional circumstances, I agree, but still not unheard of.

1) Thank you
2) Once the film is made and has been shown, subsequent viewings will always contain the same cast.

1) Interesting reading.
2) You two should be married together, you already sound like an 'old married couple'.

8)
Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.
"See that? It's the black Bentley again. KMF 102!"

1) Thank you, Julie.
2) Thank you again, Julie. She would have to convert to Christianity, of course! Seriously, she is a great person, and I could do much worse!
