You don't have to belong to the Society, but most do as they want to.

Why was the 2004 day cancelled? Thats the first I've heard of that.

So it's gone from "I definitely won't be there next year" to "If I can't make it..."

Do I sense a change of plan?

I do hope so! :D

Shame you can't both be there. You'd make a great double act. :)

I will be there at the next day! :D :D

Anyways, I would love to see the both of you, Nigel and Ming. Are you two coming???

PS: A bit silly question, but Nigel I don't know how to pronounce your surname. I always do it as in "row" or is it "rove"?

I am being quite stupid!

I don't think I will be there next year, but I hope I can! Overseas attendees find it difficult to attend two years running, you know. (though Prabhu made it)

"Rowe" is pronounced as "Row" - or rhymes with Jo. I pronounced it as if it rhymed with "how" until I got severely ticked of by Nigel!

Speaking of next year my mum and dad said something amazing. We were all watching TV (!) together.

"Hmmm.... looks like we may have a gift for you..."
"I don't want any gifts!"
"Who knows? Perhaps you will find yourself in the UK next year if you get over 90% this year - again!"
"She might want ask for something on her birthday. What? Nothing - no parties, cards, cakes, presents - but just a ticket?! ;)"

:D

Now I've decided to study with a vengeance! I've got to get around 92%!
