Instead of what? I could go upstairs and hunt out Journal 60 to find out what it was instead of, but it seemed too much effort! I soon put this minor irritation behind me and continued enjoying the article.
I agree - if I had known the places my article was to be split, I'd have rewritten the first sentences!

Nick's Making Of The Adventure Series for TV was a superb read,Fascinating background detail,interviews and I love the idea that New Zealand was like England in The 1930's/1950's...sounds like a lovely place.
I'm longing to read Anita's article,but as I'm still currently reading the first two books I will have to be patient!

Are you perhaps looking for a sundial on a brick column, Sixret, as featured in the Journal? The sundial was originally mounted on the wall of the house and can be seen just below the top window. The brick column was built to look like the columns on the verandah, two of which can be seen in the photo.

It took me ages to find it too! Talking of which, I have thoroughly enjoyed the latest journal over which I have taken my time, savouring each article. Thanks to Tony for sending me a replacement for the one which went astray. I wonder if someone somewhere is enjoying it! I think most of the remarks and observations I could make have already been made. I really appreciate the variety of articles which Tony manages to assemble into a delightful Journal of such a consistently high standard. It surely must be the best value for money of its kind.
