Journal 57
Always excited to see the first glimpse of the next Journal, number 57, on the 'Journal Page'. Great cover! I always feel quite proud when my article gets a cover picture!
Maybe not quite '57 varieties' but almost - looks a tasty meal as always - thanks to our many contributors and of course, to the 'Master Chef' Tony.
I particularly look forward to seeing Enid's stories and her recipe for cherry cake!

Ooh - a bumper issue with some enticing-sounding articles! I look forward to learning more about the Five Find-Outers in Japan.

Re: Journal 57
I've just looked at the cover of the latest Journal on the Online Shop and Journal 57 appears to have the same cover as Journal 56. Has anyone else noticed this?

Re: Journal 57
Well, Robert obviously hasn't!
It would appear that Journal 56 in the online shop is showing the wrong cover. It should show the frontis from the 1st edition of Mister Meddle's Mischief on its 75th anniversary. However, I can't seem to find this cover in the Cave of Books.

I didn't look in the online shop, only the Journal page itself.

I'm afraid that I have got the correct cover on my computer in all three places - as they are linked that is not surprising, if one is wrong all three are wrong. I checked when I loaded yesterday and it is still okay this morning.

Re: Journal 57
I only look at the Journal thread and not the online shop. But out of curiosity I have looked on the shop and for me it is showing Journal 56 and Journal 57, as the latest picture. So Journal 56, doesn't have Mr Meddle only the picture of Journal 57.

I am seeing the correct covers in each area of the site as well. It certainly looks like a mouthwatering issue. I cannot wait.

Re: Journal 57
Interesting! Yes - I have the correct Galliano cover on the Journal page, and also on the page for number 57 in the online shop, but in the 'thumbnail view' in the shop Journal 56 now also has the Galliano cover and Mr Meddle is nowhere to be seen!Tony Summerfield wrote:I'm afraid that I have got the correct cover on my computer in all three places - as they are linked that is not surprising, if one is wrong all three are wrong. I'm now seeing two different covers for 56 and 57 too. Most odd!
I'm really looking forward to receiving my copy of Journal 57.

Re: Journal 57
There sounds a great deal to whet our appetites inside the new Journal. Enid Blyton and Butlins, Holiday Village, Find-Outes in Japan, and much more. Fabulous.
