Journal 53

Post by Kate Mary »

I see that the Spring 2014 edition of our Journal is waiting in the wings, full of interesting articles and rare Blyton stories. We even have the letter from Miranda and Adventure at Midnight.

Smashing! The Phyllis Chase cover is gorgeous. I'm particularly looking forward to 'The Railway Children and The Family at Red Roofs' by Robert Houghton, as E. Nesbit is my next favourite children's author after Enid Blyton.

Looks another wonderful issue! Looking forward to the letter from Midanda, Enid's 'adventure at midnight' as there has been discussions on these over various threads and both sound very interesting.

I agree, Anita - the cover is a beautiful choice!

There's about nine articles already that take my fancy from that list.
If you haven't subscribed to the Journal yet and you are a regular member of the forums this would be an excellent time to 'take the plunge' and join. :D

In which months are the three issues per year sent out, by the way? I just joined the Society a few weeks ago and received Journal 52 (Winter 2013) with my subscription. :D

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Roughly March, July and November. Red letter months in the Blyton calender.
