You saw Georgina at the Enid Blyton Day, Abi. She was on stage talking to us all and drawing illustrations.

I have just found Terry's latest Bill's Diary entry on the Valley of Adventure - absolutely brilliant. You really have a gift, Terry, and your research must be extensive. It is amazing how many stories can be written from EB's series based on the "untold story". Please continue with the whole series - I am already looking forward to the Sea of Adventure Diary which I have no doubt will be a tear-jerker. Thank you again.

Thankfully, you have no handicap in illustrating! I have a spell-check enabled, and any mis-spelt words are underlined in red. A right-click brings up the correct versions. That might be of help Georgina, but don't worry too much, we know what you are saying! :D

Wowww!! what an awesome journal! Well done to everyone involved in the creation, the content and publication etc etc!!

Tony your editorial was great and re the overseas postage costs I am sure a majority of overseas members would understand and be prepared to pay extra, of course I can't speak for everyone but if you made an announcement in the forum and get some general feedback, this would also so help possibly to where to take it from then. The amount of information we get in these journals are priceless and they are worth their weight in gold.

Anita your article was stupendous!!! Made me feel I was actually there on the day thank you!! Loved the last sentence with the homos and coke!! :D :D

I cracked up when I saw the first picture where Sue Bell the dealer form Greenmeadow Books as I have recently placed my first order from her about two weeks ago online, I even had the opportunity to ring her as well by phone about my order and we chatted for a while etc etc

When I saw the photo of her I thought ooooooo I know that lady and I have actually spoken with her :D :D :D Also re the back page where you have a Enid Blyton Diary box photo I also chuckled as amongst the order from Sue I also had purchased a 1951 diary but dont know if it came with a pencil lol!!

I am still reading the journal and about to purchase available back copies woo hoo !!! :P :P and also make protective covers for them

Thanx again everybody !!!!!

Cheers & Lashing of Gingerbeers

Maureen

Me too. I didn't realise the Society was a front for homosexual drug users. :|

Only a tiny proportion of Society members post on the forums, Maureen - and many of our most frequent posters aren't even members of the Society.

I belong to the forums and the society. In fact I only found out through the Enid Blyton society about these forums. :D Both are great fun to belong to.
