A record number of Journals left the Cave today and should be wending their way to the various destinations over the next few days, the UK ones by brontosaurus and the overseas ones by pterodactyl!

I guess it’s too early to get the reindeers out but a pterodactyl will do the job just as well!
Looking forward to receiving it.

Hope the brontosaurus doesn't damage the Tamar Bridge, or Brunnel's railway bridge as he enters over the Cornish border

Looking forward to the read :D

Brontosaurus? An Apatosaurus, surely! Still, it must be preferable to Royal Mail these days.

Looking forward to reading 'Aunt Jerusha's Earwig'.

Kate.

This may explain why my copy always arrives with a "dog eared" or should that be dinosaur-eared envelope. Maybe with this bumper posting you can supply the poor brontosaurus with a satchel.

A tree fell down down in the nearby wood this summer, around about June/July time, I wonder .......

My copy of Journal 40 has just this minute arrived in the post. :) It looks as sumptuous as ever with 68 pages to enjoy! I look forward to reading it from cover to cover this evening. A big thank you to Tony and all those involved in its production. :)

It's arrived!!! Brontosaurus has obviously been told to hurry up.

I was looking forward to sitting down and reading all the articles until I remembered I had friends coming round and then I'm going out tonight. It's all in the timing. :?

Looks great Tony, big thanks to all the contributors.

Good old Bronto
Got here pronto!

An exciting-looking Journal as always - I've already dipped into it but will savour it properly later.

I have often said in the past that as a proofreader one of the hardest things to do is to proofread something that you wrote yourself as you tend to see what you meant to write and not necessarily what you have written.

I have proved my point in my own article on page 58 where I put in two figures in a sentence, 1000 and 500. These figures should actually have been 10000 and 5000. I have been very naughty and left off a nought!

In that case I'd say you haven't been naughty (or "noughty") enough!

Journal 40 has just arrived. It looks fab as always, an excellent way to celebrate the Journals big Four-Oh. I've just read Norman Wrights article and the editorial at the ,moment but I'll settle in with the rest of it later. As always many thanks to Tony for all his work in producing it. Sounds like he had a bit more work to do this time judging by the editorial.

Mine arrived earlier. Must find a quiet corner somewhere this weekend. Though with my tribe, it might be a long search. :D

Here's another satisfied customer. I've dipped into it but will savour the rest later. I wonder if we'll have an influx of new members after reading Nigel's article!

I'm off sick from work today so the new journal would have been a welcome distraction but no luck!! Hopefully there will be tomorrow! The brontosaurus is obviously taking its time on the journey northwards.
