I'm going to Bath in a few weeks for a holiday. Can anyone recommend a good second hand book shop in that area please? :D

What a great destination, Katharine! :D Bath is one of my favourite places in the UK — it's the most beautiful city I've ever seen anywhere.

I know I've definitely been to Bath Old Books and found it well worth the visit — they don't have a website of their own, but I found this listing on another site:
BATH OLD BOOKS, 9c, Margaret’s Buildings, Brock Street, BATH, Somerset BA1 2LP.

Tel: 01225 422244

E-mail: batholdbooks@yahoo.co.uk

Bath Old Books is a co-operative of five friendly and experienced dealers offering a medium sized selection of general and specialist stock over two floors.

Our specialisms include: Architecture; Art; Jane Austen; Bath; Children’s & Illustrated; Literature; Poetry; Modern First Editions; Travel & Topography; History & Biography.

We can also undertake formal valuations for probate or insurance purposes. Book-search service. Books bought. We can also be found on Facebook.

Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm.
There's also an Oxfam bookshop at 4-5 Lower Borough Walls.

I have not been to Bath for several years, but I used to go quite often as there were a number of secondhand bookshops there, I am not sure how many are still in business. There were also one or two good markets which had book stalls in them.
