They are not as ubiquitous in the children's section of Spanish book shops as they were when I was growing up in the 80s, but the different Enid Blyton series remain in print and there's a new newsstand collectible, 86 books all in all, including the Famous Five, Malory Towers (including the Pamela Cox sequels with no indication that they are not by Enid Blyton), St. Clare's (again including Pamela Cox sequels), Secret Seven, Secret series, Five Find-Outers and Adventure series, all of them complete. Very childish, colorful covers:

On German ebay Enid Blyton books in Spanish appear now and then, but their prices are usually quite high, even second hand from merchants in Germany.

Really? Older editions seem cheap to find in Spain, and of course new editions are available at regular new-book prices. Maybe we could start an export business :P

Look at the prices:

I suppose all I know about Spanish is "No hablo espaƱol" ;-). I still have quite a big number of Blyton books to read in English and German, and I started to read the in French as well to improve that. If I come a cross a reasonable priced book in Spanish I don't say no if I don't already have it, but I'm not looking in particular about them, db105.
