Help Please Noddy's Shop of Books

Post by selsong »

HI
I have Noddy's shop of Books just like this one
http://www.enidblytonsociety.co.uk/book ... p+of+Books" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have searched all over the www and cannot find one for sale at all. does anyone know if there is a market for this item and how much it would be worth today?
Many thanks
Selwyn

I'm afraid that I get numerous email enquiries for valuations which I ignore as immediately under my address on our Contacts page is a paragraph which all those contacting me choose to ignore. You have sent me two emails about this.

Note that we do not offer a valuation service, so please do not enquire as to the worth of any items you may have. As much as we would like to assist, unfortunately we at the Society have far too little time and manpower to deal with queries of this nature.

It's best to look on eBay. These values might be considerably lower or higher than the price you will eventually get for an item, but I use the average as a rough estimate.

I recently bought a very good version of 'Noddy's Ark of Books' for as little as £32.00. However, some sellers offer the same thing for maybe £90.00.

Noddy's Shop of Books is seen less often, as you say. At a rough estimate, I would suggest around £40.00 - £80.00 depending on condition. Something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it in the end.
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

It seems to have gone up in value!
