Although I know John is definitely not a fan of paperbacks, his library is nonetheless most impressive.
An avid reader, John and Mrs Pickup are most certainly still up for a full on boogie as the later pic clearly shows..

New carpet, new bookcases and a fresh lick of paint. Here's a few photos of the books on the shelves. Now to find the reading time!

This magnificent library - and disco most assuredly deserves to be in our esteemed library bookcase thread.
What about our newer members? We'd all love to see your Enid Blyton library/bookcase here if you haven't already posted your pics of it!!

Do you mean the photos I put on of my bookshelves a year or so ago? I think that happened because I hosted them on facebook, and deleted the photos there without realising they would also disappear here.

Here are a few -

Rob, I see your copy of Ragamuffin Mystery has a wraparound dustwrapper and is the same height as the other books in the series. I always thought that it was slightly taller than the rest in that edition.

Well spotted! I think this photo was taken before I bought my first edition ragamuffin Mystery, which I now have, replacing the one in the photo. The one in the photo was a later edition with a wrapper printed from The Cave - so it isn't a first edition. :-D

Great pictures Rob. An enviable collection and I know that's only a part of your library.

A wonderful collection, Rob! I always think the Secret Sevens and Dean & Son books look particularly scrumplicious with their colourful pictorial spines.
