I have the version second down - the 1950 edition with a similar condition dust wrapper...it cost me £20 but that was a good 15 years ago, so I guess the price above is about right now! I feel lucky I bought a lot of my dust wrapper editions when I did.

I must admit though, I prefer the bottom DW design - which I also have (1952 ed). I prefer the reprint DW's to the white spine ones, especially as a full set all look similar on the shelf.

£84 is a lot of money for a 7th impression with a grubby wrapper. I've got five of the white-spined Famous Fives and I didn't pay more than £25 for any of them.
I agree with Rob that the later wrappers look better on the shelf and I've got the third version down of Treasure Island which I paid £8 for.

I also have 3 white-spine wrappers, and I'm hoping to get the others eventually - when I come across them cheap enough! ;-)

I agree with Rob. I prefer the later dw which has similar pattern with the rest of the titles in the series.
I stand with justice and the truth. Palestine will be free from the river to the sea.

Learn the history. Do research.

The hypocrisy, double standard, prejudice and bigotry own by some people is so obvious.Shame on them!
