I got my copy via Amazon exactly two weeks ago. Since it was an Amazon copy, obviously it had not been signed by the author. My copy suggests that Tess may have redone, revised or updated her book for the second time, since it is copyrighted 2008 and 2012.

I heard about this book while I was busy writing my The Famous Five: A Personal Anecdotage.

On the whole the book was very much well written. It gives us a very good illustrated history and geography of Old Thatch.
