Sounds good, Julie :).
If it's more about the FF and Corfe Castle, I would definitely be very intrigued.
As I've not grown up with the Golliwogs (the first time I ever heard about them was way back in 2008 when I joined the Blyton Yahoo Group) and this book focuses more on the Golliwogs, it would probably not be very interesting for me.
What do you think?

Chrissie, if you mean Imogen's book, then I don't recall it mentioning the FF or Corfe Castle. It's her memories of her childhood. So features descriptions of Green Hedges, what kind of jewellery Enid Blyton liked and that sort of thing. I think there are some references to Enid's writing, but I felt it mostly of focussed on Imogen's thoughts and feelings.

Hi Katharine, it was the book by Susie Day that I was referring to. :)

I think you can interpret it as not wanting to waste his time on it.

I presume Nigel means the children's novel by Susie Day, rather than Barbara Stoney's biography or A Childhood At Green Hedges?? I've lost track!

You definitely lost track. I was still referring to Susie Day's book about Corfe. And I still have no clue if Nigel ever read it or not  .

I believe Nigel hasn't read it, nor would want to!

As for Barbara's book and Imogen's book, definitely a must read. :)
