A lovely letter, Areesha. I loved the Faraway Tree books when I was little - I longed to have wings like the ones Bessie got from the Land of Birthdays, so I could fly.

This information from our "Author of Adventure" section should answer some of your questions:

"Heyho for a starry night and a heathery bed!" - Jack, The Secret Island.

"There is no bond like the bond of having read and liked the same books."
- E. Nesbit, The Wonderful Garden.
