I was browsing on Abebooks when I found this film for sale from Green Meadow Books:

I'm intrigued. Has anyone seen it or know anything about it? it seems to imply that 'Tales of the Woodland' is a series title and 'Sleepy Heads' is this episode. Perhaps it was made for Saturday Morning Kids Cinema. I can't find it in the Cave.

Re: Tales of the Woodland film
We watched one or two 'Tales of the Woodland' episodes at an Enid Blyton Day once. They were quite charming nature tales, but I'm not sure which Enid Blyton stories the tales were based on or how many were made.

The only books I can think of that might fit the bill are the Nature Lover's Book, or Rambles with Uncle Nat. It might be original material but I see the screenplay was by someone else. Interesting anyway. Thanks for your reply Anita.

Someone wrote an article on these films in Journal 19 and it is on its way to you!

It looks lovely, wish I had the money to spare. Mind you, even if I could afford, I wouldn't have anything to play it on.
