I'm afraid I don't know much about the locations. I've only been to Dorset once as an adult and that was a day trip concentrating mainly on Poole and Corfe Castle. At the time, Viv had Eileen Soper's Illustrated Worlds in Poole and the Ginger Pop Shop in Corfe. A fantastic day but I haven't had the opportunity to go back to the area.
Not to worry, Anita! Thanks for replying. I hope you get the chance to visit Dorset sometime in the near future. :D

Hello, here I have pictures from the place, where George found the camping bus and get kidnapped in "Five fall into adventure" at the end of part one.

I hope you will like them.

Yes, the weather was nice. It was 2013, my first visit in england, it was in august. One year later I visited the place a second time, there was much rain.

That's the trouble with the English weather, O.Q. It's unpredictable at the best of times! :D

Onkel Quentin, I swear on May trips to the UK!
British travel guides say that the month of May has the least amount of rainy days and I never had more than 4 or 5 rainy days within 3 weeks of UK trips. Usually less than that.
Try it! :D

My last visit was this year in may, only for two days. The first day, the weather was good (no rain). On the second day it rained till I entered my plane.

To number 6 or any other member of this forum:
Do you know, is there a forum member, who was member of the staff from 70's filmcrew? (Gary expected).

Hi O.Q. Apart from Gary, there's only one other forum member I know of who worked on the F5 series, & that is Julie Davis, who played Jo in the Five fall into adventure episode. Unfortunately, Julie's last post on this thread was about 3 years ago, if not longer. I've not heard of anyone else from the film crew being on the forums. :|

Thank you number 6!
The thing is, when I visited Decon Farm, the owner told me, that there was a lady one weekend before and she was an actor on backside. This weekend was 12. and 13. of may, so I thought she wanted to come to the meeting in Exbury.
But it is great, that Jo is a member of this forum. I like her. She was so "aggressiv". When I've seen the FF first time in german television, I was 7 or 8 years old. She was the person, I could always remember, also Red Tower and the house. It is my favorit episode.

You're welcome, O.Q. Now then, you've lost me regarding the lady from "backside"! Not heard of this programme! I think the owner mean't to say the lady was a former actress on Brookside, a TV drama in the UK (in the 80's/90's?) :D

Julie Davis attended the Enid Blyton day in Twyford in 2010, along with Gary Russell, Marcus Harris & Gail Renard.
It was great to meet Julie in person. I wasn't disappointed. She was absolutely lovely & very friendly. :D

She was very nice, number 6, I had a few photos taken with her on that great day.

Here is the Society Day write up, with pictures of Julie and others.

I'm with Julie, Eddie and Anita and John (L.S.) on the second picture down. :)

I can remember speaking to you on a few occasions during the Twyford 2010 EBS meeting, Julie! They were very brief, but they're still etched in my memory! However, I don't think you remember me. I was the chap who confirmed F5 location sites & chatted to Gary Russell during the screening of 'Five fall into adventure' episode! :D
