Marcus Harris

Post by Tony Summerfield »

I have just been watching a repeat episode of Midsomer Murders - an episode titled 'Things that go Bump in the Night' and I spotted Marcus Harris as a police forensic photographer, taking a picture of a dead body lying on a railway line!

Uuuuuihh ! Tony I don't know this series. Please could you tell me when exactly this series is from.Thanks.
Edit: Just was looking up on Wikipedia and discovered an article of Midsomer Murders.
It sounds very interesting.Pity I never saw it although this series firstly aired as a pilot in 1997 and a new twelfth series is commissioned in 2008.
Regarding Marcus and his job I only can say:
O.k back to the roots - sometimes at least...(grins)

Hello Peppermint,

You can watch some of the midsomer murders full-length drama on youtube website.

There are many Agatha Christie full-length movies. The classic is definitely 10 Little Indians(And Then There Were None) from 1940s production.

There are also some of Famous Five full-length movies from 1970s/early 80s production. :shock:

You can watch all the movies for free. Thanks to enthusiastic fans out there! :wink:

P/s: In Malaysia,Midsomer Murders drama being aired twice a week on Hallmark channel.

As luck would have it, the Midsomer Murders episode featuring Marcus Harris is available on Youtube. Here is the link;

Things that go Bump in the Night

The scene featuring Marcus Harris appears about six minutes into the clip and lasts only a few seconds.

Marcus Harris was the actor who played Julian in the television adaptation of the Famous Five in 1978. The series was shown in Europe in that year and still has a lot of fans.

An excellent Julian, in the 1970's TV version of The Famous Five, below is a screencap of Marcus Harris.

From part two of the two part story - Five Go to Smuggler's Top (1978).
