I'm sorry to hear that.

I was also sorry to hear of Anna Massey's death. She was a superb actress.
Incidentally, her birthday was the same day as Enid Blyton's: Anna was born on 11th August 1937 and Enid on 11th August 1897.

Sunny Stories docu-drama featuring Maureen Lipman
Not sure if this has been posted before. I did put a link to youtube in another thread, but thought I'd include it here for those who've never seen this. It's in several parts on youtube of about 6 mins each.

Thanks Nigel.
I can never seem to search for threads on here. I did a search for 'Sunny Stories' 'Maureen Lipman' etc but no specific thread came up. Obviously I'm doing something wrong, as the search facility is always pretty useless when I try it!

Robert, you are putting too much information into the Search box. If you just put 'Lipman' you will get 53 results. Go to the earliest (which happens to be one of your own posts), click on it and you go the thread you wanted.
The Search on here works best if only one or two words are used.

Re: Sunny Stories BBC TV 1992 - Maureen Lipman
Even doing a search for 'Lipman' the thread about Sunny Stories only comes up on page 3. I think it's because the results come out in date order - most recent first, so any very old threads are way down the list.
Anyway - thanks for the info - I'll try shorter search information next time!

Am I right in thinking that you are not clicking on the highest page number at the top right hand corner of the Search results? Do that and you go straight to the earliest posts.

oh, I know - but then when you're searching for something you've no way of knowing whether it might appear in the earlier posts or the more recent posts, so it's necessary to search every page, surely? Anyway - no worries!
