Jenny Thanisch Yahoo Group
Jenny Thanisch Yahoo Group
Just chanced across this small Yahoo group while researching the 1970s series. It contains a 1979 interview with Jennifer Thanisch conducted by a Spanish magazine plus photos taken around the same time. One or two inaccuracies pop in due to the translation but it makes good reading all the same. A must for diehard 70s series fans.
Here's the link; http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/jennythanisch/ You will have to sign into this Yahoo group to view the interview and pictures, as my conscience will not permit me to lift photos and files from other websites!

Most interesting. Looks like you have to join the group to read the translated magazine articles, I will do so later on when I have time.
I never would have guessed that an actress like Jenny Thanisch who has not acted in years and is, after all, not really that famous would have her own Yahoo group. Truly it illustrates the power of the internet to bring us info on any subject under the sun.

The vast majority of child actors/actresses disappear back into obscurity once filming is over and all the interviews, other TV appearances etc dry up. I don't think that 30 years ago anyone would have imagined that the Famous Five TV series would be remembered with such affection in the early 21st century. The only other series that surpassed this is perhaps Worzel Gummidge which was also made by Southern Television.

No, No!! My email is connected all day, so whatever I am working on I can see if there is a reply to anything and also at the moment can see all the people trying to register (who now have to be approved and 9 out of 10 are spammers), so I do check in quite often, but I am not there all the time. Just to prove the point I will remove my hidden status for 24 hours, so you can see when I check in!!Ming wrote:I thought you were connected 24 hours a day?
Sorry Jenny lovers, I have gone even further off topic, but it seems that you are right - you have to register to see the pics.
