Where can I get this book?

Post by IceMaiden »

I'm after a copy of 'The Adventures of Scamp' with the 1955 version wrapped but I can't find it anywhere. The onoy wrappered copies are the green & yellow one but I really want the pastel colour one. This is the book I mean:

I'm just an old fashioned girl with an old fashioned mind
Not sophisticated, I'm the sweet and simple kind
I want an old fashioned house, with an old fashioned fence

I'm not sure there are any magical sources for books, or easy answers. But keep a very regular eye on eBay and also sites like http://used.addall.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. When you see a copy for sale that looks like a possibility, ask questions since you are very specific about the exact edition you want. I don't suggest that a seller is in any way dishonest, but I have on occasion bought a used Blyton book, then, when it arrived, found it wasn't quite what I wanted - because I neglected to ask sufficiently specific questions about it before buying it.

Regards, Michael.
