Just remembered this game and wondered if others would like to keep playing it too! :D

Pond: There's a story, Noddy and the Moon (in The Big Noddy Book No. 2), in which Noddy walks by a pond at night and sees the moon has apparently fallen into the pond, so of course he tries to rescue it... Not one of Enid's most original plots!

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Flag: In Hurrah for the Circus!, when Jimmy and Lotta are on the beach, Jimmy's dog Lucky picks up some seaweed and Jimmy puts it on the end of a stick to make a flag for Lucky to carry as she walks on her hind legs.

Cat: Lots to choose from, but I'll go for the Blyton cat I remember from earliest in my life — Sooty, Mr Pink-Whistle's cat, who often helps him with his work of putting wrong things right.

Singing: In Tales of Toyland, Jolly the sailor doll is always singing a loud sea shanty, much to the annoyance of the other toys in the nursery where we begin the story!
