Umbrella: In the story The Strange Umbrella Tiptap the Pixie steals an umbrella from Wizard Ho-Hum and finds that it is a magic umbrella which wreaks it's own punishment upon him.

Handkerchief: The handkerchief embroidered with "Z" and planted as a false clue to a fake mystery by the Find-Outers in The Mystery of the Pantomime Cat — only for the prank to backfire severely on them and put an innocent person at risk of being prosecuted...
